Requesting Data Deletion

The app has no accounts. It does not collect your name, email, phone number, or any account profile. The only data tied to you is the reports you choose to submit and an anonymous, app-generated device identifier.

You can request deletion of:

Any smell report, emission report, or note you submitted.
The anonymous device identifier associated with your reports.

Email support@whatsthatsmell.app with the subject line "Delete my data". Because reports are anonymous, please include the approximate date, time, and location of the report(s) so we can find them. We will confirm once your data has been deleted.

You can also remove your own reports at any time from within the app, and uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
